Stress and the week long freakout!
Latley all I have been doing is working and playing. what a life right? Wrong! This last week has been a stressful one and I have found myself out til all hours of the morning just trying to stay away from home. Over the last 3 weeks both my mother and grandmother have been hospitalized for blood clots. This is some scary stuff as my bio-dad died from them as well and I guess to a point I am coming face to face with my own mortality. Let me tell you, It is a bitch to comtemplate. For years all I did was sit at the computer talking to friends and goofing off. That has come to an end for me as I am now getting out, making friends and just having fun. The fact that I like my job makes things a lot easier and the people where I live are colorful and lively. I am still stressed about my family but there is truly nothing I can do. That helpless feeling sux but I will survive as I always do.
Something to do!
Recently I decided to get a job that would actually take me away from the computer screen. What is this new job you ask.. Well I am not gonna tell. I will say that it is pretty easy and it has cured me of the insomnia that I have had most of my life. I like pretty much everyone that I work with but the Drama can be a bit much at times. I will like the paycheck that I am getting on a bi-weekly basis now the question is do i put it tword school in the fall or do i put a lift kit and big ole tires on my jeep… Damn the decisions lol.
Stress, Caprica and Computer upgrades!

Okay, it has been a bit since I last wrote here but I have many good reasons for that. One is I just moved to the outskirts of bum-fucked Egypt. Yes!, that would be the east side of nowhere! I can actually stand on my porch and spit into the next state. Yeah for peace and quiet! However such wonderful solitude comes at a price and that would be the 20 minute drive at midnight to the closest 7-11 for a pack of smokes.. This now takes me an hour, one way and all up hill.. In the snow no less.. Just kidding.. 30 minutes tops! In the midst of all daily hub-bub, my grandmother ends up in the hospital twice in two weeks. Once for a blood clot and once for a stroke.. My daughter was sick with Pink eye for the second time in all this and it was all a bit overwhelming, and I kind of just started shutting down and stayed off the internet. Then I got my tax return.. That is definitely what the doctor ordered!!! So was the 52″ plasma television I bought and the parts for a major computer upgrade that should be here within the next 2 hours!!
So! I am sitting here waiting for the UPS guy to get here, and to pass the time I open my i-Tunes only to see that my Caprica 2 hour movie has downloaded. If you are into BSG at all you know what I am talking about and I hope you have already gotten it.. If not, GET IT NOW! There is no doubt where I will be when this show airs on Sci-Fi channel.. and yes I will be watching it in HD on my 52″ !!! I predict now that this show is going to be as big as, if not bigger than BSG! Lingering questions from BSG will be answered, the flow of the story is tightly written, the action scenes are instance, the tech makes you wish you had it and as with BSG more questions arise. I give this show five stars!!!!

Life on Caprica...
Okay I cried! The final … Errrr .. Not so final as during the Friday night series finally a commercial spot gave hope to BSG fans with a 2 hour “from the Cylons point of view” mega-sode titled Battlestar Galactica “The Plan”.. I personally cannot wait until the fall but like so many I don’t have a choice. As for the last episode I cried! and cried! and cried some more. I held my own right up until Laura Roslyn passed away on a fly over with Bill Adama, I have to say the series wrap up was done brilliantly! This should be the standard for the end of all television series. The story lines were wrapped up as were the characters themselves. The show is now gone but It will live on forever in my i-Pod!
Sick Little Baby…

I am in a state of feeling totally helpless. After being sick for the last three months with a lung infection then a case of the flu I am finally feeling better. However we discovered today that my daughter whom has missed the last two days of school with a fever now has Pink Eye. She will be missing most of her last few days at the school she is currently in and this is upsetting as she is one that loves school and her friends. I on the other hand am having issues with the contagious part of the pink eye thing as I want to hug her and give her kisses and let her know it is going to be all better but in fact I am spending all my time washing my hands and blowing through bottles of germ X. I am getting over a lung infection and the flu and i dont want to risk catching “Pink Eye” on top of all that. I am not sure how long this is going to take to clear up but this is especially troublesome as on the first of April we will be moving to Back Bay near the VA/MC border. This I am looking forward to as it will mean that I won’t have to bounce around all summer. Ah, the joys of living a mobile lifestyle. Yes I live in a fifth wheel RV full time. This comes in handy when you’re a military dependant and have to move ever three or so years as instead of packing to move you just hook up the house and go. Of which I will be doing in a week or so. Anyway I am falling off topic Post a comment and let me know how you would handle such a dilemma as a kid with an infectious issue.
“Kings” Will I exile them from my DVR? (Review)

In the "Kings" royal court.
If you take a dumbed down Shakespearean plot line, Roll it up in a Nazi premise, Splash in some good ole’ American sentiment for good measure and cover it with a Nobel English monarchy polish then wrap it all up in crown of butterflies sent by god and you have “Kings”. If you could suffer through a few too many long monologue statements, that I am sure were meant to be moving, yet falling short. The Gay Prince called out by his father or way too much time spent on the Queens missing cell phone. Then you will probably like the show. As for me the jury is still out. Most shows may fall short in the beginning but come on stronger after all the kinks are worked out. I am going to give this show another shot or two before I exile the “King” from my DVR. I will keep you updated on what I think as the show progresses.
Parking Lot Sharks

It's a Jeep thing!
Among the age old questions like why do we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway? I add to these the questions, this. “Why do people feel the need to follow, or as I like to call it “Sharking”, you in the parking lot like a stalker on a hot summer night, just to get your spot?” For those of you that are guilty of doing this, Yes, You know who you are! Stop for a second and think of how freaked out you would be if I were behind you in my Jeep revving the engine and sharking you. In my head, I am just waiting to hear the squeal of your tires and the opportunity to become your hood ornament. This is just shear rudeness and that is why I like to get even. On the way to my car I see you begin to shark me.. Yes! I know you are going to do it, so I go several rows over and out of my way mind you. When I get just about even with my car I dart between the rows and off to my vehicle. Usually I get away clean and laughing as I pass you and see you cussing at the little prank. However, and yes this happens, if you roll up behind me before I have the opportunity to pull out, BE WARNED! If you blow your horn at me I will patiently sit there until you get tired and leave! Be it adjusting my mirrors, taking the opportunity to clean out my purse or picking my nose. I will sit there! I sometimes will not even turn the car on and if you don’t leave in a timely fashion I will simply exit my car and head back into the store, as if I forgot something, and watch you until you park! See rudeness begets rudeness.. SO BE NICE! It doesn’t hurt much.
As a foot note: The people of America are getting fatter by the second so get off your lazy ass and take the opportunity to walk a few extra feet to help offset Hershey bar and diet coke you just finished! You know who you are!

Set for upcoming You Tube show
Work… Something I have unfortunately not done enough of lately. Between being sick and being addicted to ooVoo I have not really had time to do anything… However I have had time to rip a good portion of my DVD’s into my i-Tunes and work on my new Internet idea. I have also been trying to learn After Effects CS4 and increase my expanding knowledge of Lightwave 9.6. I will be bitching about Newtek’s new CORE later. I have actually gotten the test vid into the live set and working. However I am not the prettiest picture in it by any means so it will not be shown anywhere! I am also working on my Greenscreen tech. with very limited space i am finding it hard to get a good green screen.. so I sit and wait for the tax return to arrive and a quick purchase of some green screen paint and a large canvas painting that I have every intention of turning into a green screen background. We will see but I am workign on it.. I am also working on my Vlogging Anna… I am not posting her until I have perfected a quicker method of creating her vids.

The Child
Yes, I am a little sad. It is less than a week til the final episode of Battlestar Galactica. I have frantically been purchasing every episode I can get my hands on for my i-Pod and even started buying the classic series. I am left wondering how I am going to spend my soon to be free Friday nights. With all the shows that i have in my DVR list BSG is the one that I dropped everything for on Friday nights. Like with Jericho, ER and a few others I will move on and find new shows to occupy my time with. I am waiting with bated breath for the preimer of “Caprica” the BSG spin off in hopes that it will give more into the origins of the Cylons. This coming sunday I have the DVR set to record “Kings” hopefully it will live up to the hype we shall see. However life goes on and hell I even plan on creating a few of my own

I actually needed sleep!
I have been screwing around working on my sites and trying ot make things a bit more clean and defined. This i am finding is just not working. I find myself adding personal stuff onto my other sites Dreamerations, My CG site dedicated to Free Products for Daz 3D characters and my own creations and Endeavour My website for an animated movie that I am working on as well as my shorts that I post on You Tube. Last but not least my Merchandise Store that has my art work on it at Cafe’ Press. All of these fall under my company First Endeavour Productions. I am trying to find a solution that will accompany all of the sites as I am finding that i am spreading myself a bit thin in the website category. Add into the ones I previously listed other things i am on such as MySpace, You Tube, Face Book, Twitter, fLickr, MyYearBook and others and that is really all too much. I am attempting to downsize so please bear with me. Thanks
